ABOUT THE FRAGRANCE
Safran Troublant is a spicy-floral L’Artisan Parfumeur fragrance built around saffron, vanilla, red rose and sandalwood, combining warm spice, sweetness and woods.
OUR TAKE
Sweetness sat on top of leathery, animalic material that reminded me somewhat of Oud Ispahan. The spice was soft rather than aggressive, and the whole thing almost smelled like Indian sweets.
I detected a little caraway, but only faintly.
