ABOUT THE FRAGRANCE
Santal Carmin is a warm woody composition opening with saffron and bergamot, centred on sandalwood and musk, with vanilla and cedarwood in the base.
OUR TAKE
Spicy citrus and sandalwood opened with a strong saffron note. As it developed, the sandalwood became sweeter, creamier and more obviously spiced.
The main reservation was longevity: short performance is easy to forgive in a citrus-cologne style, but less so in a richer sandalwood fragrance like this.
