Al Oudh

L'Artisan Parfumeur

ABOUT THE FRAGRANCE

Al Oudh is a 2009 Bertrand Duchaufour fragrance for L'Artisan Parfumeur, conceived as a dense spicy-woody-animalic interpretation of an imagined Arabian caravan landscape, moving from hot spices and dried fruit through rose, neroli, leather and saffron into woods, resins, musk and vanilla.

OUR TAKE

1/5

Rose, an oud impression, animalic notes and cumin were the main impressions, and the spice level felt excessive to me. The heart became sweeter and honeyed. The overall style reminded me of Amouage Opus IV and Opus VII.
