Mimosa Indigo
ABOUT THE FRAGRANCE
Mimosa Indigo is a warm floral-leather composition opening with bergamot, mandarin and saffron, centred on mimosa, leather and lilac, and settling over sandalwood, vanilla and musk.
OUR TAKE
Sweet, powdery and white-floral, with an oriental twist that I first read as amber or wood. Saffron may have been responsible for some of that warmth. Leather was not obvious to me at first.
Unexpectedly, part of it brought Jo Malone Wild Fig & Cassis to mind, with an almost coconut-like facet. The drydown was pleasant and feminine, but overall I still found it fairly ordinary.
