OUR TAKE

2/5

The opening gave me spice, woods, smoke and incense, with sandalwood and something tobacco-like. Flowers were not obvious at first.

After checking the note breakdown, violet and vetiver became clearer. The combination of floral violet with heavy leather felt strange but interesting. The heart became sweeter and more floral, almost honeyed, while the spice receded. Someone compared it to Fahrenheit, and I could understand the dark violet connection, though this felt much darker. The longer it dried down, the better it became and the closer it felt to Fahrenheit.
