ABOUT THE FRAGRANCE
A 2012 Atelier Cologne composition pairing bergamot, neroli and bitter orange with violet leaf, geranium and Haitian vetiver, settling into leather, musk and tonka bean.

OUR TAKE
The opening was fairly unremarkable, but the fragrance improved noticeably as it dried down. A sweet almond-or-cherry impression emerged and pushed it somewhat feminine to my nose.
Later, associations with Bleecker Street, Bal d’Afrique and Vétiver Fatal suggested violet and leather were behind the resemblance. Past the top notes, it was a good scent even if not really for me.
