ABOUT THE FRAGRANCE
Released in 2016, Tobacco Nuit is a warm spicy, tobacco-centred Atelier Cologne composition. Reference note listings pair clementine, cumin and coriander with tobacco blossom, olibanum and labdanum over cedar, patchouli and tonka bean.
OUR TAKE
An oud-like facet, amber, sandalwood, tobacco, spices and incense combined into something very enjoyable.
There was also a clear Amouage association, especially Memoir or Journey, but the tobacco became more obvious in the drydown. I barely noticed the cumin; by the end it felt like a lighter, more tobacco-focused take on Journey.
