Jubilation XXV
ABOUT THE FRAGRANCE
Jubilation XXV Man is a woody Amouage composition combining labdanum, coriander, orange, davana, frankincense and blackberry with a honeyed spicy heart and a deep base of patchouli, resins, woods, musk, ambergris, oud and immortelle.

OUR TAKE
Jubilation XXV initially felt very oriental: amber, oud-like woods, sweetness and spice, with honey becoming clearer in the heart. I thought it was decent but had expected more.
The drydown changed my mind somewhat as incense became more prominent and the scent improved a lot. On another wearing berry and bay-like facets dominated the top with pepper and amber underneath, eventually developing a minty or camphoraceous oud-like quality.
What stands out most to me is just how rich the composition feels. In terms of the sheer range of notes and facets I can pick out as it develops, this is one of, if not the richest, fragrances I have ever tried.
