ABOUT THE FRAGRANCE
A 2010 Van Cleef & Arpels fragrance composed around citrus, aromatics, tea and leather, with styrax, tonka bean, incense and benzoin deepening the base.
OUR TAKE
The opening was strange: light, somewhat feminine and clearly synthetic. Despite the darker image, it did not strike me as an obvious autumn or winter fragrance.
Woods were clearest at first. Later, a plastic or synthetic-leather quality appeared alongside white musk, with a resemblance to an aspect of Bvlgari Black. Whatever my reservations, the scent was distinctive.
