1861 - Renaissance

Xerjoff

ABOUT THE FRAGRANCE

Xerjoff presents Renaissance as a fresh perfume from the 1861 collection, opening with mandarin, lemon, Calabrian bergamot, bigarade and petitgrain. Mint, lily of the valley and Bulgarian rose form the heart, over musk, cedarwood, amber and patchouli.

OUR TAKE

3/5

A very nice citrus, woody and musky scent. The citrus is sharp but also sweet, with a very clean character and the persistent musk signature I associate with Xerjoff. I did not clearly pick out mint, although the fragrance definitely felt green. It is the kind of scent I find difficult to dislike: essentially a beautiful classic cologne translated into a longer-lasting parfum style.
