The opening was loaded with spice over incense and amber, with possible caraway and rose. I was not especially taken with that first phase.

Once the spices settled, the fragrance became much more interesting: dry, woody and almost bitter, but in a way I liked. Something in the drydown reminded me of an aspect of Amouage Tribute, perhaps a cedar-like facet.
