OUR TAKE

The opening brought Ambre Sultan to mind, with a dense traditional amber-attar character reminiscent of Indian shamama. From there came green notes, citrus, lavender, florals, oakmoss, patchouli and amber.

There seemed to be a substantial natural-material character, putting me in mind of a chypre or fougère attar I might make myself. I also wondered about civet, castoreum and tobacco in the base. Despite the complexity, I was not especially impressed, though it softened and improved slightly after a few minutes.
