Memoir
ABOUT THE FRAGRANCE
Amouage describes Memoir Man as a woody leather fougère, opening with bitter green herbs and mint, moving through rose, frankincense and lavender, then settling into a dense base of woods, moss, leather, tobacco, vanilla and musk.

OUR TAKE
Memoir opened green and fresh, possibly with galbanum, herbs, sweet facets that reminded me of orange blossom, along with some spice. It then became deeper and more serious.
The drydown was the strongest part for me: slightly bitter and dry-woody, with amber and incense underneath. On another wearing I specifically noticed green notes, spice that reminded me of cardamom and nutmeg, citrus and possible galbanum.
