Monsieur, by Bruno Jovanovic, is an intentionally patchouli-heavy woody amber fragrance, brightened by mandarin and rum and deepened with cedar, suede, incense and musk.

OUR TAKE
The opening gave me a very strong patchouli impression. In the drydown, it unexpectedly reminded me of Cambodian oud oils. On reflection, I wondered whether some of what I first read as patchouli might actually have been guaiac wood. The dark woody drydown was the distinctive part for me.
