Bigarade Concentrée
Compared with Cologne Bigarade, this felt more orange-forward and zestier, with a noticeably stronger essential-oil-like character to my nose.
Cologne Bigarade
The opening was distinctly citric and orange-led. What surprised me was the drydown, which became warmer and more amber-toned, reminding me somewhat of Trèfle Pur.
L’Eau d’Hiver
Sweet, subdued and feminine to my nose. I had expected something more projecting from a fragrance I associated with winter, so the softness surprised me.
Monsieur
The opening gave me a very strong patchouli impression. In the drydown, it unexpectedly reminded me of Cambodian oud oils. On reflection, I wondered whether some of…
