ABOUT THE FRAGRANCE
Ambre Nue combines a bright citrus opening with benzoin and cinnamon before moving into a resinous base of labdanum, tonka bean and patchouli.
OUR TAKE
Ambre Nue opened as a cologne-style take on a richer Arabian woody amber. Orange, amber and a dry resinous quality were clearest to me, with possible patchouli underneath. I liked it at first, but the drydown leaned increasingly feminine to my nose, and on a later wearing I was less impressed.
