ABOUT THE FRAGRANCE
Lumière Noire pour Homme is built around rose and patchouli with an herbal-spicy structure including artemisia and cinnamon.
OUR TAKE
The opening struck me as a very nice spicy fougère for evening wear: citrus, lavender, spice and amber, in a lighter version of the same broad territory as Fougère Royale.
Rose or jasmine may have been present in the heart, followed by musk. The listed caraway or cumin never felt obvious to me, which I took as a sign that it was well balanced. The drydown reminded me of Amouage.
