Pepper and frankincense hit immediately, with enough pepper to almost make me want to sneeze. Labdanum and other resins sat underneath.

I thought the fragrance could have been very good with less pepper. Fortunately the pepper faded after a couple of minutes, revealing the familiar dark labdanum-and-resin structure I associate with Norma Kamali Incense or Black Afgano.
