Habit Rouge is Guerlain’s historic amber fragrance for men, created in 1965 and built around contrasts between citrus freshness, warm spice, woods, leather and a rounded vanilla signature.

OUR TAKE
The initial impression was mature and old-school, centred on patchouli and amber. Strangely, it then calmed down into citrus.
At close range I sometimes struggled to smell it properly and wondered whether I was partly anosmic to some facets; it could almost feel watery. Overall it reminded me of an older oriental perfume style and did not particularly excite me.
