OUR TAKE

2/5

Labdanum dominated from the start. Smaller amounts of benzoin and vanilla gave the fragrance a milky, creamy texture, while a bitter resinous facet reminded me of myrrh. I expected frankincense too, but could not clearly pick it out on that wearing. The overall effect was a rich, creamy labdanum amber, like a familiar labdanum-benzoin-vanilla structure pushed much further toward labdanum. A few hours later, the drydown even suggested creamy sandalwood. I thought it was good, but at the price I tried it, I did not feel it justified a purchase for me.
