Opus VI
ABOUT THE FRAGRANCE
Opus VI is a spicy, resinous and woody fragrance from Amouage's former Library Collection. Reference note listings pair frankincense and aromatic spice with patchouli, nagarmotha and silk vine over an amber-style base of sandalwood and rockrose/labdanum.

OUR TAKE
This sat firmly in the oriental rose-and-oud territory: saffron, patchouli, rose and oud, with a style that reminded me of Arabian Oud Woody. I thought it was a good, improved version of that kind of fragrance.
The problem came later when I began getting a burnt-plastic impression, which reduced my enthusiasm considerably.
