ABOUT THE FRAGRANCE
Amouage presents Interlude Man as a spicy, woody composition built around a bright aromatic opening, a resinous incense-heavy heart and a dark base of leather, agarwood smoke, patchouli and sandalwood.
OUR TAKE
The opening gave me frankincense, vanilla, fruit with a berry character, a bubble-gum sweetness, lavender, spice and amber, with possible oud underneath. I thought it was good, distinctly oriental and increasingly smoky as it developed.
The drydown became a full spice, incense and leather bomb, reminding me somewhat of Tuscan Leather. Performance was enormous, two sprays felt more than enough.
