OUR TAKE
Much greener than the name suggested, Royal Oud opened with freshness that reminded me of galbanum and angelica, perhaps with a touch of coriander. Oud itself was surprisingly quiet at first, while the familiar Creed character underneath brought Millésime Impérial to mind. The drydown developed a noticeable essential-oil-like facet that did not entirely convince me. Longevity also seemed poor, which made the price difficult to justify.
