ABOUT THE FRAGRANCE
City Love is a floral-spicy woody Dueto composition. Reference note listings include violet, cinnamon, rose and geranium, with oud, patchouli and cypriol/nagarmotha in the deeper structure.
OUR TAKE
The opening felt oriental, with davana, white florals and fruit, possibly peach or pear, and it leaned feminine to me. The heart became sweeter, with a very powdery, almost confectionery quality and a possible saffron facet.
Oud barely registered at first. In the drydown, a synthetic-oud character became much clearer, and I found that phase quite unpleasant.
