OUR TAKE

4/5

Herod felt rich and sweet, in the same broad territory as Tobacco Vanille and some of Frapin’s heavier fragrances. Tobacco, vanilla and amber were the clearest impressions, with a near-gourmand quality and something fruit- or dried-fruit-like underneath.

I thought it was quite nice, clearly more appealing to me than Tobacco Vanille, but still probably not something I would naturally wear often.
