I expected something more gourmand, but instead got a strange contrast between liquorice and nuts, with what I recognised as Bertrand Duchaufour’s incense signature underneath. It also had a noticeable essential-oil character.

I found it very strange, interesting as an artistic creation rather than a conventionally nice perfume. If I did not already like liquorice, I think I would have disliked it outright.
