OUR TAKE
Dior Homme Intense leaned surprisingly feminine to my nose. The strongest association was a lipstick-like iris effect, joined by lavender, cocoa and a noticeable fruitiness.
The note breakdown I saw at the time included pear, and that may have contributed to the fruity impression, although the lipstick-like iris effect itself could just as easily be what pushed the fragrance in that direction for me.
