Spice & Wood
ABOUT THE FRAGRANCE
A woody-spicy Creed composition balancing a fresh bergamot opening with a heart of pepper, angelica root, orris, patchouli and clove, settling into cedarwood, vetiver, musk and birch. The structure combines polished freshness with a darker, spiced woody base.

OUR TAKE
The first wearing opened in a cologne-like way before a deep iris impression appeared very quickly. The heart was full of clove, but I liked the treatment because it did not turn medicinal. I thought the scent itself was very good, although the retail price felt excessive. On a second wearing, apple was much more obvious, almost everywhere in the composition. That made it feel particularly well suited to autumn and winter. At a substantial discount I could have seen myself buying it; at full retail, no.
