Creed describes Original Santal as an aromatic amber fragrance opening with juniper berry and bergamot, combining sandalwood with orange blossom at the heart and finishing with tonka bean and oakmoss.

OUR TAKE
The opening was very sweet to me, with plenty of lavender, and I did not get much sandalwood despite the name. It became more pleasant after a few minutes, but the sweetness remained strong and took on an almost marzipan-like quality. Even after it improved, I did not feel the experience justified the price.
