ABOUT THE HOUSE
Shoyeido traces its Kyoto incense-making history back more than 300 years to the early 18th century.
The Hata family continues the house tradition through blended incense built around carefully selected natural aromatic materials and long-established incense-making techniques.

Shoyeido is one of the Japanese incense houses I have explored most consistently.
