Incense
Hojo Red
鳳城 朱
Yamadamatsu · Japan
ABOUT THE INCENSE
Hojo Red is Yamadamatsu's kyara-focused incense made with abundant top-grade kyara; the house's official Hojo trial set also identifies musk in the blend.
OUR TAKE
I struggle to perceive the kyara character here; it never really comes through for me.
