Verveine d'Eugène

Orange, petitgrain, neroli and verbena formed a sweet, herbal, fresh cologne structure that felt ideal for spring, summer or just after a shower.

After checking the notes, I suspected rhubarb and cassis were behind some of the sweetness. Cardamom did not stand out to me. The rhubarb made the fragrance more distinctive than a standard cologne, although it also pushed the drydown somewhat feminine. Overall, I thought it was very nicely executed.
