Firsthand reviewSel Marin reminded me strongly of Bergamot Marino, but in what felt like a better-quality execution. It opened with slight citrus, then moved into a clearly aquatic, salty and marine phase.
Unexpectedly, it became very spicy, mainly reminiscent of clove to me, before that spice transitioned into woods. Clove usually bothers me, but here I liked it, which made me wonder whether I was actually perceiving eugenol rather than a literal clove note. For me this was an excellent beach, holiday and summer scent, top notch.
