ABOUT THE FRAGRANCE
Amouage’s Opus V, now presented as Woods Symphony, contrasts orris and rum with jasmine and rose before moving into oud, civet and dry woods, exploring the tension between polished structure and animalic depth.
OUR TAKE
The first thing that stood out was strong, attractive sandalwood, with citrus and florals, possibly rose, around it. I thought it was very nice.
On another wearing the structure felt like citrus, jasmine and musk leading into a sandalwood-heavy drydown.
